If raw eggs sit in one position too long, the yolk may settle to the bottom of the egg next to the shell. Then when you shake the Negg® that very thin piece of egg white that is keeping the shape of the egg may tear. It can also tear when you are trying to fill your deviled eggs. An easy solution is to simply turn the egg carton upside down when you turn the water on to boil. By the time the water boils the egg yolk will have re-centered and eliminates the potential problem.
